The Beginning
This is the beginning of a blog in which percussionists and percussion-lovers alike can have a personal glimpse into the daily workings of the Percussive Arts Society and learn the history and story behind some of the hundreds of percussion instruments, documents and artifacts housed in the Rhythm! Discovery Center. I am Erin Jeter, the spring intern at PAS and I want to share the incredible wealth of knowledge the museum and organization has to offer to others who share my passion for it.

A College Student’s Guide to PAS
Alright college students, let’s be honest. How many of you only have a PAS membership because of PASIC? How many of you have never once used the online membership site? A good number of you probably answered yes to both of those. I'm guilty as charged too; in undergrad I never tried to utilize any of the PAS resources available to members. As I’ve been working here, however, I’ve learned about so many great resources that PAS provides and I want to share them with you all in series of blog posts: The College Student’s Guide to PAS.
