"The Day of Percussion at DePaul University last December proved to be an exciting and rewarding day for everyone. The clinicians and performers were excellent and seventeen new members joined the ranks of PAS. We are already in the process of organizing our next Day of Percussion for 1980 which will again be in conjunction with the Mid-West Band and Orchestra Clinic. The date has been set for Saturday, December 20th. It will be held at Roosevelt University with Mr. Ed Poremba as host." - Dick Cheadle, 1980 Spring/Summer Newsletter.
