GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANTSHIP
The Pride of the North Bands at the University of North Dakota announces a Graduate Teaching Assistantship for an individual desiring a Master of Music degree in Percussion. Students in this program are offered opportunities for personal and professional growth in education, teaching and performance abilities through participation and instruction with athletic and concert ensembles.
Position: The Pride of the North Graduate Teaching Assistantship in percussion provides opportunities in the following areas:
Graduate Assistants are encouraged to audition and participate in the many ensembles available at UND.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Music degree. Acceptance into the Graduate Program at the University of North Dakota. The applicant must display graduate-level performance skills on principal instrument/s. Experience in teaching and coordinating a drumline at a University/Drum Corps level is required. Experience writing percussion music desired.
Stipend: Two year position. Approximately $13320 in salary, including benefits, per academic year. Possible tuition waiver available.
