- Graduate Assistantship In Percussion -
Stipend: Stipends for a nine-month, quarter-time contract are currently $8,000 (Masters degree). In addition, students receive a full-tuition waiver ($6,084 in-state/$10,440 out-of-state)
Responsibilities: Percussion Instructor for the TSU Statesmen Marching Band (Fall). Perform and assist with the TSU Wind Symphony I and/or Symphony Orchestra. Studio responsibilities include Director, Concert Perc. Ens II, Lab Ens Instructor, MUSI 190: Music of Trinidad & Tobago course (Fall), Perform and assist with Concert Perc. Ens. I and University Steel Band "Truman Steel." Applied instruction of secondary students.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in music and full admission to the Graduate Program. To be considered for the assistantship, candidate must audition/interview on campus.
