MUSIC: Artist/Teacher of Percussion. Lecturer, appointment beginning Fall Semester, 2011. Salary and fringe benefits are competitive and commensurate with rank and experience. Master's minimum, doctorate or equivalent professional profile preferred. Demonstrated success in college-level teaching desirable. Teach percussion to undergraduate and graduate percussion majors/minors. Teach percussion ensemble and percussion methods in the music education curriculum. Oversee the marching band drumline. Work closely with the University band and orchestra directors concerning the placement and performance of percussion students within the ensembles, and with the jazz percussion area regarding the division of students, percussion studio class, recitals, hearings and juries.
