    Position Title: Assistant Professor. Applied Studio Percussion

    Position Summary: Primary duties will include the teaching of applied percussion at the undergraduate and graduate levels, regular performance as a soloist and chamber player, and recruitment/maintenance of a nationally recognized studio.   

    Minimum & Preferred Qualifications: The School of Music at the University of Alabama invites applications for the Applied Studio Percussion positon at the rank of Assistant Professor. This is a tenure-track position. Applicants should have documented performing and teaching experience at an artistic level, with appropriate terminal degrees earned. (Master's degree required, Doctorate preferred, although significant and documented performance experience will be considered in place of earned degree(s).
