    Position: Marching Percussion Director and Applied Percussion Lesson Instructor.

    Rank:     Adjunct position, non-tenure track.

    Salary:   Commensurate with rank, qualifications and experience

    Qualifications: Master's Degree required. Significant drumline teaching experience in drum corps and/or college or high school marching band is required. Arranging for front ensemble and battery experience required. Additional drumset teaching and/or performing experience preferred.

    Responsibilities: Instruct and oversee all aspects of the Texas A&M-Commerce drumline in coordination with the Associate Director of Bands and the Professor of Percussion. Oversee the battery and front ensemble sections during rehearsals and performances at university, athletic, and other selected events. Additional duties in fall and spring semesters include teaching one-on-one applied percussion lessons to music majors and non-music majors. Special consideration will be given to candidates with drumset performing and/or teaching experience.
