Days of Percussion


The Florida Chapter of PAS traditionally holds three state-wide PAS Days of Percussion:  The Northwest Florida Day of Percussion (Terry Sanders, host, Pensacola) in September, the Naples Percussion Summit (John Evans, host, Naples) also in September, and the Spring PAS Day of Percussion in the central Florida area.  

Our next event is the 2012 Florida Day of Percussion at the University of South Florida in Tampa (Bob McCormick, host). The event will take place on Saturday, March 24.  More details are as follows:

Directions:
-Take I-75 to Fowler Avenue Exit in Tampa.  Go West toward USF
-You will see USF on your right.  Go past main entrance to Bruce B. Downs and turn right
-You will pass Medical buildings on the right and Veterans Hospital on left
-After that turn right on Holly Drive; you will pass the Moffett Cancer Center on the right
-After Laurel Drive and you will see the Music Building on your right
-I expect Free Parking on Saturdays
(loading dock entrance: take a right on Laurel and immediate left into lot)
