The Illinois Chapter of the Percussive Arts Society (ILPAS) is dedicated to  the development of a positive, family- like community throughout the network of educators, students,  and professional performers of the percussive arts in Illinois. ILPAS supports the advancement of  the percussive arts through the pursuit of excellence in education and performance.  It promotes the continued growth of PAS and ILPAS membership through the dissemination of a quarterly newsletter, the development of its website, and the production of outreach activities and events, principally the Annual Day of Percussion, that encourage involvement, engagement, and interaction among its members.
