The Percussive Arts Society (PAS) is a music service organization promoting percussion education, research, performance, and appreciation throughout the world. PAS is the world's largest percussion organization and is considered the central source for information and networking for percussionists and drummers of all ages.
The Utah Chapter of the Percussive Arts Society, its leaders, and its members have been responsible for a remarkable renaissance in the areas of percussion education and performance at all levels throughoutthe state of Utah. Each year, the chapter publishes multiple newsletters and articles focused on the education of working percussionists, non-percussionist music teachers, and students at every level of experience. We are also proud to host an Annual Utah Day of Percussion in the Spring, which features performances of Utah area percussion soloists & ensembles from Junior Highs, High Schools, Colleges & Universities throughout the state, as well as clinics by world-renowned artists and educators.
